Yeah I totally agree with you that, ordinarily, too many forums should not be used but we are garnering the views of the public as a new political party and we will be doing this democratically by region and moderated democratically by region too.

Thanks for all of your feedback on the Moderation setup, I realised that my setup, from the point of view of moderation was useless and I've made the changes accordingly through a combination of setting the moderator permissions and copying permissions and double checking that they are working as intended.

Two final questions if I may please:

1. Our workflow is as follows: new member joins, is added using the ACP Add User Extension to the region (or Volunteer section which also inherits their region). However, currently, new member is also automatically added to the "registered" group which is pointless in our situation and just something that our volunteers may easily forget to remove the new member from.

Is this behaviour something that can be changed such that they are only placed in the groups that our Membership Team decide from their region provided?

2. Is there a way of locking down most of the administrative functionality save for the adding and allocating of members to groups - to reduce the risk of accidental/malicious changes being made?
