My problem continues - tonight tried 2 new test registrations, Admin did not get notification or email for either. New user got email saying account waiting Admin approval. I changed nothing in the board config since the last time I tested this, when it worked. Is this a known fix with the update version 3.3.14? I'm at 3.3.13. I can send email to Admin from Contact, and the test email gets sent correctly. The fact that no notification is sent should be diagnostic.
