I'm a total rookie being that I'm in the process of creating my very first forum all thanks to this amazing software. I've been a member of many forums over the years but have now decided to create a forum of my own. Sadly, I'm kind of stuck on the first steps of installing the forum on the server. Here is a screenshot of the step in question. It would be step 5 of part 1 which I already have highlighted:

After I added my own domain to replace the "http://www.example.com" part, I ended up receiving the Error 500 page. I am aware that the most common cause of encountering the Error 500 page is due to incorrect permissions set. I'm pretty sure I had the correct permissions set but it's possible that I may have misunderstood some of the steps before step 5. I'm sure it's something that's super easy to fix. I just can't figure it out lol.
But anyway, any little bit of help will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask me for more info if needed. I'll do my best to provide it. Otherwise, thank you all so much in advance for your assistance.![8-)]( "Cool")
